Four Railspire-Equipped USSC Locomotives
From October through early May, four Railspire-equipped locomotives supported flat yard switching service at the U.S. Sugar mill in Clewiston, Florida, a relentless, 24/7 industrial operation that processes 6 to 8 million tons of sugarcane into 700,000 to 900,000 tons of raw sugar each harvest season. Under the direction of U.S. Sugar’s T&E team, Railspire locomotives executed more than 7,700 missions that covered almost 1,000 miles.
